I can't believe it's been one month already since I left the US. Each day feels so long but each week goes by quickly. It has been a month full of learning, exploring, and adapting. Our days are so structured and full, yet we have the evenings and nights to ourselves. I'm definitely enjoying my 1-hour jam session and 9-hour sleep every night. Sometimes it's rather nice to have our days planned out. No extra headache and stress. I also feel so blessed to have a wonderful host family, awesome new friends, and a super supportive team of Peace Corps staff. Really, they make the whole "intense pre-service training" so much better and easier. I have definitely enjoyed my time here so far and haven't been home sick yet. Maybe just a little bit tired. Because of our 8am-5:30pm training Monday through Saturday each week, Sundays has also become super precious to us. The past two Sundays especially have been memorable for me because my host family took me to Phnom Penh, Kampot, and Kep. I had a great time with great people. The food was also delicious, especially the seafood at Kep. It was the the freshest of freshest. So far, it's been great here in Cambodia!
